Channeling the 1940s today...
When I went down to the basement to start the laundry today, I realized that the best light in the house (for the next half hour, at least) was in this corner that gets light from two sides. So I turned my back on the laundry, and brought down a vase of red roses and a couple of favorite things from my farm kitchen.
