Duck!

Hundreds of American Widgeon ducks decorate this small pond in Sequim. And one lone Mallard, for a change of color.

  2. Many Mallards live here, but I've never seen an American Widgeon. Mr. Mallard certainly stands out with his bright yellow bill.

  3. Wow - great shot. We came across a flock of American Widgeons and two Eurasian Red Headed Widgeons - the Eurasian ones are rare and are usually found mixed in with the American ones.
