This was one of my favorite parts of our Ireland trip. Without doubt. Who can resist crawling around in a ruined castle on the edge of a cliff, above the pounding sea?
Dunluce Castle has quite a history, if you'd like to read more about it. I just loved wandering about in the late afternoon light, taking pictures, and trying to imagine what it would have been like, with the walls standing, the roofs intact, and the rooms full of furnishings and people.
This is a very special place.
